Administrator Bienvenido O. Benitez, Jr. attended the art exhibition presented by the Justice Sector Coordinating Council, Bagongbuhay Group of Artists, and the Pambansang Museo ng Pilipinas at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila, on October 29, 2024.

The art fair is in celebration of National Correctional Consciousness Week.

A celebration of unique talent and creativity, each artwork expresses the unique story of each PDL and the rehabilitative potential of art. While created behind bars, the PDLs’ contribution to the country’s culture and the arts transcends beyond the four walls of their prison.

The exhibit is on view until January 5, 2025, at the Sandiganbayan Hall of the National Museum of Fine Arts.

The Administrator is joined by Planning Division Chief Wilson Suba, Special Investigator III Bonny Calizo, Special Investigator III Allizza Joy Castillo, AO IV Ferdinand Borres, Planning Officer III Jubylyn Bacani, Statistician II Jhirty Pagcanlungan, and Planning Officer I Arjay Clemente.
