To determine the readiness of the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA) for the implementation of the project “Expansion of the ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System of the PPA”, the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) evaluated the Agency’s QMS as to the established processes covering the said expansion starting 2021.

The readiness assessment was conducted to ensure the adequacy of the established structure and mechanisms in the implementation of the expanded QMS of the agency which will include the remaining regional offices and their respective one pilot field office.

The assessment basically covered the major processes and existing systems in all divisions and regions; organizational issues; planning; risk and opportunity; customer satisfaction; management review; and provision of investigation, supervision and rehabilitation services for clients.

In the assessment, the DAP team utilized review of documented approaches of the established QMS, evaluation of the management and rank’s personnel understanding of establishing and implementing the quality objectives, Citizen’s Charter, Manual Procedures and Process Flow charts; interview with the relevant process owners; and ultimately report the results of the readiness assessment.
