PPA IS NOW ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFIED

After two years of preparation and series of audits, the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA) passed the international standard with the grant of certification on March 14, 2019 by TUV Nord in Germany. The said certification is valid until March 13, 2022.

The conferment of ISO 9001 certification to PPA is the result of the streamlined processes and procedures in the implementation of P.D. 968 based on international standards set by the International Organization of Standardization. It is expected that with the adoption of Quality Management System (QMS), the delivery of services will be more efficient to the satisfaction of clients.

To date, PPA is set to utilize information technology systems such as the Probation Information System (PIS), Human Resource Management and Information Development System (HRMDIS), Single Carpeta System (SCS), and Case Management Information System (CMIS).

These programs will systematize the management of information and records of PPA personnel and clients that will lead to a quicker delivery of service.
